The tourney started on this night, from 6pm till 10pm. with over 80 players playing in the 4 age catagories.
I'm sure all who took part ( apart from your odd grumpy "never-happys"),will agree that this style of football is by far the most entertaining to play.
The night started with the under 12s. playing an 8-a-side game, with a few slightly older players joining the game to even the game when one of the teams went to far in front. i.e , 4 - 1.
From 7pm till 8 pm , the 12 - 16 year olds played against each other .
From 8 pm till 10 pm , the "Big-yins " , played .
We came to the conclusion that due to the number of players who "Turned -Up" for a game, that we should start the games with who-ever arrives first , starting with 10 v 10.
The actual playing time for each game was set at "half an hour".
OR , the first team to score 3 goals ( within the 30mins). gets to stay on the pitch as winners.
